Newsflash: stroomstoring
on May 30, 2006Onheil, paniek, catastrophe!
Shashin, ruby open source project
on May 25, 2006In my last post I released a sidebar plugin for this blog (Typo). The plugin uses an API which I coded: ruby-GalleryRemote. This is used for accessing the Gallery2 Software remotely.

Shashin is an offline gallery-admin/blogger for travelers. Since I will go backpacking this summer with some friends we realized we needed a tool like this. The project is also used to get school credits for the Design Patterns course.
typo-dev with gallery plugin
on May 23, 2006This blog is now running a development version of typo. So don’t be scared if you see some strange debug information on your screen :]
Today I wrote a little plugin to test some code I’m using for a (ruby) school project (more on that later).
In the sidebar you can see my most recent daily-life pics fetched from the Gallery2 software, that’s the plugin. Now some screenshots:
and here is the sourcecode: http://www.digigen.nl/~dodo/code/downloads/typo-galleryremote.tar.gz

on May 15, 2006Summer is comming! I had a nice 2 weeks, altough the work load is more then ever, I had some great times.
At the moment I’m working hard on my research and school. Meanwhile I’m advancing my japan plans, combining them with my friends. If all goes well, I’ll spend 8 months in Japan spread over 2006 and 2007.
